The members of the Association may be either full members (one per country) or associate members.

Full members

Full members are the associations, groups, organisations, companies holding at least one motorway section or a tolled construction where the tolls are directly received by the user (classic tolls), with the limitation of only one member per country.

Full members are:

1. associations or national groups of companies holding concessions or tolled motorways and constructions operating in Europe. The representativeness is obtained if more than the half of the tolled national motorway network (classic tolls) is hold by the companies composing the association or the group.
   
2. national organisations operating in Europe, financing toll motorways and toll constructions.

Associate members

As associate members may be accepted national associations of toll motorways operating in non-European countries adjacent and directly connected to the European members of ASECAP by road or by the Mediterranean sea, institutions or associations having a direct interest in the development of motorway policy, and companies in charge of collecting a distance-related user charge from the users of the motorways or roads.

The applicant should send a letter of interest to the ASECAP Secretariat describing its proper profile.
